Minutes from 2/7/08 meeting at Michael V’s restaurant awards dinner

Meeting called to order by President Travis Taylor following dinner.

Welcome to all and big thanks to Mary Szafranski for organizing the awards dinner, door prizes, song lyric contest, and Dalmatian facts game! Door prizes for first and last arrival= Shirley Schillinger and Mary (Marcia’s sister). Closest guess on the number of “liver” spot M&Ms= Mike Givens. Closest guess on the number of “black” spot M&Ms= Melissa Givens. Second place guesses= Mary Switzer and Lynda Brownson. Prize for best lyrics to song “to all the girls I’ve loved before” was Melanie Dickey and Marcia Givens.

Special chair presented by Shirley to the Givens for their Dals who have titled over the years (chairs lost in fire).

Newsletter editor changed to secretary Melanie Dickey with Mary Szafranski assisting.

The Board elected the show chairman for Oct. 30, 2008 DOT specialty to be Melanie Dickey. At March meeting the club will discuss suggestions for sweepstakes judge.

Copies of the DOT Constitution were given to every member in attendance.
